Available data

The data made available by the Research Data Access Services are either administrative data or survey data.

Administrative data are compiled in databases for management purposes by certain Québec government ministries and agencies related to health or education. These same ministries and agencies have identified some of these data as designated information to make them available to researchers.
Survey data are non-aggregated, raw data obtained from the answers to questions asked in custom-designed surveys, in particular by the Institut de la statistique du Québec and Statistics Canada.
