Targeted population
Organizations whose main, secondary or incidental activity is the presentation of paying professional performing arts shows in Québec or the rental of performance halls located in Québec.
Sampling
The survey sample is based on several sources of information, including lists of members of professional associations in the performing arts sector, as well as lists of organizations eligible for the CALQ mission support/specific programming support program and the SODEC performance venue support program.
Themes
Attendance at paying professional performing arts shows presented in Québec by type of show (discipline, language of performance, target audience and production origin) and according to other variables such as the administrative region of performance venues, hall size, ticket sales revenues, and complimentary tickets offered.
