Développer nos compétences en littératie : un défi porteur d'avenir

The Québec report on IALSS first gives an overall portrait of the literacy skills of the Québec population from a comparative perspective: trends since the 1994 International Adult Literacy Survey (IALS) and comparisons with the results of Canada and the other provinces.

It also contains detailed information on several factors related to the literacy of adult Quebecers such as educational attainment, continuing education, income, job status, language and immigration status. The report also features the findings on literacy practices and the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), two other aspects associated with literacy skills.
