In the fourth quarter of 2022, there were approximately 208,000 job vacancies in Québec. Compared with the same quarter of 2021, this number was down by almost 30,000 (-12%). This led to a decrease in the job vacancy rate (the number of job vacancies expressed as a percentage of labour demand), which declined from 6.0% to 5.1% over this period.
