General information
The Québec Survey on the Use of Health and Social Services 2025 was conducted at the request of the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux to provide statistical data at the provincial and regional level on the knowledge of mechanisms for accessing primary care, health service utilization patterns, and unmet needs among people aged 18 years and over.
Type of survey
Cross-sectional survey; provincial and regional (health region) estimates.
Target population
Persons aged 18 and over living in Québec. Persons living in institutional collective dwellings and those residing in the health regions of Nunavik (17) and Terres-Cries-de-la-Baie-James (18) are excluded from the survey.

9,193 individuals.
Data collection period
January 6 to May 11, 2025.
Themes
The themes addressed are: patterns of access to health care and health services for semi-urgent and non-urgent health concerns, unmet needs associated with semi-urgent and non-urgent health concerns, and unmet needs for care and services provided by dentists, optometrists, psychologists or psychotherapists, and physiotherapists that are either partially covered or not covered by the public health insurance .
