Your name was selected randomly among the parents of children aged 5 or younger so that you can participate in the Québec Study on Childcare Accessibility and Use.

We obtained the personal information required for the study, such as your contact information, from Retraite Québec under an agreement made in accordance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.

Do I have to participate in this study?

Your participation is voluntary, but just as important as that of the several thousand other parents selected at random in Québec. Your answers will help us better understand childcare accessibility and use and will provide reliable, current data on this topic for Québec and for your region. The information collected will help us obtain a reliable picture of the situation of families in Québec.

Are telephone conversations recorded?

For quality and training purposes, telephone conversations with Institut de la statistique du Québec agents are recorded. If you do not want your conversation to be recorded, simply notify the agent at the beginning of the call.
