Portrait du travail et de la santé et de la sécurité du travail chez les jeunes de 15 ans au Québec

This publication, produced in collaboration with the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST), addresses the following points: characteristics of entry into the workforce among 15-year-old Quebecers, reasons given for having or not having a job during the school year, type of work, number of hours worked, work schedules and working conditions. In addition, it presents an overview of workplace injuries and the means used to raise awareness about workplace hazards.

The results are based on analyses of QLSCD data collected in 2013, when the young participants were about 15 years of age and most of them were in Secondary 3.
