Taken from the General Social Survey, these statistics provide a portrait of Quebecers’ perceptions and preventive behaviours towards crime. They cover perceptions about the number of crimes committed, the presence of social problems, the population’s sense of safety and confidence in their social network and the justice system, as well as the crime prevention and precautions measures taken.
