This report provides an overview of definitions of homelessness used internationally and presents various initiatives undertaken to measure this phenomenon. It also provides a portrait of hidden homelessness in Qu&eacute;bec, based on data collected for the first time in 2014 as part of a population survey conducted by Statistics Canada.

Taken from the General Social Survey, these statistics provide a portrait of Quebecers&rsquo; perceptions and preventive behaviours towards crime.
