The publication on this page comes from the Panorama des régions du Québec, édition 2026.
This publication examines changes in employment and in the participation, employment and unemployment rates in Québec as a whole and in its administrative regions between 2024 and 2025 based on data from the Labour Force Survey (LFS). It also features data on job vacancies (number and rate of vacancies, hourly pay offered) based on the Job Vacancy and Wage Survey (JVWS).
There are also analyses on the rate of workers, an indicator developed by the ISQ based on personal income tax data from Revenu Québec for the purpose of monitoring the labour market in the province’s 104 RCMs. An overview of labour market conditions in RCMs is provided by comparing data from 2024, 2023 and 2019.
