Québec, January 31, 2022. – The Institut de la statistique du Québec published today a new edition of the Profil sectoriel de l’industrie bioalimentaire au Québec. This publication, prepared jointly by the Institut de la statistique du Québec and the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec, contains more than 200 statistical tables and figures related to this industry’s main economic indicators. It is a reference tool for those interested in the subject.
This edition of the Profil sectoriel illustrates the evolution of Québec’s biofood industry from 2017 to 2020. The publication covers animal and crop productions and includes comparisons between Québec, Canada and the United States. It contains detailed statistics on:
