The physical land cover account compiles land area for the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s, as well as the increase, decrease and net change in area between these decades, by land cover class. Statistics for the 1990s to the 2010s are available for 12 administrative regions: Bas-Saint-Laurent, Capitale-Nationale, Estrie, Montr&eacute;al, Outaouais, Abitibi-T&eacute;miscamingue, Gasp&eacute;sie&ndash;&Icirc;les-de-la-Madeleine, Chaudi&egrave;re-Appalaches, Laval, Lanaudi&egrave;re, Laurentides, and Mont&eacute;r&eacute;gie. The study area and number of regions covered will evolve as the fifth ecoforestry inventory progresses.

This document reports land cover changes between the 1990s and the 2010s, as well as the land accounts for Southern Qu&eacute;bec&rsquo;s detailed method.
