Summary of responsibilities
Security guards ensure the security of properties and goods. This includes controlling access to facilities, issuing passes and directing visitors to appropriate areas, patrolling designated areas to protect against theft, shoplifting, vandalism and fire, enforcing facility regulations to maintain order, and when necessary, supervising and coordinating the activities of other security guards.
