Summary of responsibilities
Road maintenance workers perform a variety of semi-skilled work related to the maintenance, repair and construction of public works, mainly in the road network, using light, portable equipment such as pneumatic hammers, vibrators, compressors or other similar devices. They install traffic signs and paint road markings. They perform simple and routine manual work such as removing garbage, digging and filling holes and trenches, trimming bushes, handling heavy objects, loading and unloading materials, maintaining lawns and clearing snow.

Valid drivers licence for a construction trade (for some jobs)
