    Summary of responsibilities

    Engineering technicians prepare plans, specifications and other technical documents in a variety of fields. They install, assemble, repair and adjust machines, devices, attachments, tools and control instruments.

    Education requirement

    Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in engineering technology with an appropriate specialization, or the equivalent recognized by the appropriate authority
