Summary of responsibilities
Cooks prepare a variety of foods and meals. They mainly prepare or participate in the preparation of salads, sauces and soups, cook food, prepare light meals or more elaborate dishes, and prepare or participate in the preparation of menus.
Education requirement
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) with a specialization in professional cooking, or the equivalent recognized by the appropriate authority
