The Québec Public Service Job Attractiveness Survey aims to assess how attractive the public service is as an employer.

This survey provides the Secrétariat du Conseil du trésor (SCT) with reliable statistical information to help optimize the Québec public service’s hiring and staff retention processes.

Target population

All individuals aged 18 to 54 living in non-institutional dwellings in Québec. Individuals living in institutional collective dwellings (hospitals, residential and long-term care centres, correctional institutions, rehabilitation centres, etc.) and individuals living in the health regions of Nunavik (17) and Terres-Cries-de-la-Baie-James (18) were excluded from the survey. 

Sampling and data collection

8,521 individuals selected 

Data collection took place from May 25 to September 13, 2021.
