Your name was selected at random, just like that of several thousand other people aged 65 and over in Québec, so that you can participate in the Study on the Life Experiences and Well-being of People Aged 65 and Over in Québec.
This study is conducted in accordance with the Act respecting the Institut de la statistique du Québec, and your contact information was obtained under this Act.
Your participation in this study is voluntary, but important, because it will allow us to collect accurate, objective data on certain aspects of the lives of people aged 65 and over in Québec. The results of the study will therefore provide the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux with information about the lives of people in this age group, including their interactions with the people around them, which will help inform future actions aimed at ensuring their well-being.
For quality and training purposes, telephone conversations with Institut de la statistique du Québec agents are recorded. If you do not want your conversation to be recorded, simply notify the agent at the beginning of the call.
The Act respecting the Institut de la statistique du Québec guarantees that your answers will be kept confidential and will only be used for statistical purposes.
All those working at the Institut de la statistique du Québec have been sworn in before a commissioner and are bound to maintain secrecy and confidentiality.
The Institut de la statistique du Québec has entered into an agreement with the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, to whom the data collected will be sent, except for your name, address, and telephone number.
