Your name was selected at random among women who gave birth in 2025 so that you can participate in the Québec Study on Infant Feeding and Breastfeeding 2025-2026.
This study is conducted in accordance with the Act respecting the Institut de la statistique du Québec, and your contact information was obtained under this Act.
Your participation is voluntary, but just as important as that of the several thousand other individuals selected at random in Québec. Your answers will help us better understand infant feeding and breastfeeding and will provide reliable, current data on this topic for Québec and for your region. The information collected will help establish services and programs that promote the health of babies and their mothers.
For quality and training purposes, telephone conversations with Institut de la statistique du Québec agents are recorded. If you do not want your conversation to be recorded, simply notify the agent at the beginning of the call.
The Act respecting the Institut de la statistique du Québec guarantees that your answers will be kept confidential and will only be used for statistical purposes.
All Institut employees have been sworn in before a commissioner and are bound to maintain secrecy and confidentiality.
The Institut de la statistique du Québec has entered into an agreement with the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, to whom the data collected will be sent, except for your name, address and telephone number and those of your baby.
Your answers will be kept confidential and will only be used for statistical purposes.
