How do I participate in the survey?

The Institut de la statistique du Québec will start calling the selected individuals in June 2026 so that they can answer a 35-minute questionnaire. You have nothing to prepare. If you are not available when we call, just let us know what time would be more convenient for you.

Why was I chosen?

Your name was selected at random, just like that of several thousand other people in Québec, so that you can participate in the Québec Population Health Survey (QPHS 2026-2027).

This survey is conducted in accordance with the Act respecting the Institut de la statistique du Québec, and your contact information was obtained under this Act.

Do I have to participate in this survey?

Your participation is voluntary, but just as important as that of the several thousand other people selected in Québec, so that we can obtain an overview of the Québec population’s health at the regional level. The survey results will provide essential information that Québec needs to offer better health protection and prevention services to the population.

Are telephone conversations recorded?

For quality and training purposes, telephone conversations with Institut de la statistique du Québec agents are recorded. If you do not want your conversation to be recorded, simply notify the agent at the beginning of the call.

Will you share my answers with other individuals or organizations?
