Until then, here is some information about this special round: it’s a project initiated by Marie‑Claude Geoffroy (Ph.D.), professor at McGill University, and Isabelle Ouellet‑Morin (Ph.D.), professor at Université de Montréal. This project aims to study biological aging in relation to mental health and social support, by analyzing the DNA methylation process using a saliva sample. Participation in this round takes place entirely at the respondents’ home.

A financial compensation of 20 $ will be given to thank you for your participation in this special round.

Are telephone conversations recorded?

For quality and training purposes, telephone conversations with Institut de la statistique du Québec interviewers are recorded. If you do not want your conversation to be recorded, simply let the interviewer know.
