Based on data from the 2010–2011 Québec Survey on Activity Limitations, Chronic Diseases and Aging, this article pursues two main objectives: to measure the prevalence of two fragility markers among people aged 65 and older in Québec, namely signs of depression and involuntary weight loss, and to examine the use of hospital services and prescription drugs in relation to these fragility markers. The population covered by the survey was living in a private household or a non-institutional group household (the latter type includes, among others, people living in a seniors’ residence with services, etc.).
