The study consists of two chapters. The first sets out the method recommended by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to measure human resources in science and technology (HRST), then presents the adjustments we had to make to produce the estimates based on Labour Force Survey data. The second chapter contains an analysis of the results of our work by comparing Québec's position to that of other Canadian regions.
