In 2024, the median employment income of people aged 25 to 64 reached $59,200, up 5.5% in current dollars. This growth exceeded that of 2023, but remained below the sharp 8.6% increase of 2022, a year marked by exceptional inflation. Median employment income grew more than the provincial average in 86 of the 104 RCMs in 2024, with growth exceeding 7% in about 40 of them. This was the case for the Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent, Minganie, Haute-Côte-Nord and Manicouagan RCMs in the Côte-Nord region, which posted increases above 9%. Read the publication

They include annual data on the number and rate of workers, as well as on employment income for those aged 25–64.
