Language requirements when hiring

The Survey on the Language Requirements of Businesses and Municipalities in Québec in 2023 aimed to find out how important language skills and knowledge are in selecting candidates during the hiring process. The survey took place from October 5, 2023 to January 8, 2024. It included 2,483 businesses with 5 or more employees, as well as 197 Québec boroughs and municipalities with at least 5,000 residents.
