Tables on postsecondary institution graduates

Data on postsecondary institution graduates come from Statistics Canada’s Postsecondary Student Information System (PSIS), which covers all public and private not-for-profit postsecondary institutions that receive public funding in Canada.

Data from institutions are transmitted electronically to Statistics Canada in a specific format that was determined after consultation with the relevant government departments and other stakeholders. The categories used, such as the types of programs and types of educational certifications, make it possible to take into account the realities of postsecondary education systems that often differ from one province or territory to another.
