Compensation of benchmark jobs based on the Survey on Total Compensation in Québec

    This table presents the compensation for each benchmark job included in the Survey on Total Compensation in Québec (ERG), conducted among businesses with 200 or more employees. The benchmark jobs are divided into five categories: professionals, technicians, office workers, service workers, and maintenance and trade workers.

    For each job, results are provided by level of complexity and according to various breakdowns (Québec as a whole, the public sector, the private sector by unionization status and business size, and the manufacturing sector).

    The results focus on normal weekly hours of work, salary scales, annual salaries, hourly wages, and total compensation. The three levels of complexity are as follows: entry and learning level, full working level, and team leader or expert level.
