Important notice about the October 21, 2025 release

In its October 7, 2025 release of international merchandise trade statistics for the reference month of August 2025, Statistics Canada stated that there are still delays in the receipt of import data due to the implementation of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) system. These delays are impacting the completeness of import statistics for the reference months of November 2024 to August 2025. Given these issues, users should exercise caution and expect revisions to import data in the coming months, even if they are published. For more information, see the Note to readers: www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quotidien/251007/dq251007a-eng.htm

Possible delays in the release of Québec international merchandise trade statistics

Note that the partial shutdown of the US federal government as of October 1, 2025 may impact the availability of certain data necessary to produce statistics on Québec’s international merchandise trade. As a result, the release of these statistics could be postponed in the coming months.
