Important notice about the January 21, 2025 release

In the release of its international merchandise trade statistics for November 2024, Statistics Canada states that there have been delays in the receipt of import data due to the implementation of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) system. These delays are impacting the completeness of import statistics for the reference months of October and November 2024. Given these temporary issues, users should exercise caution and expect material revisions to import data for the reference months of October and November 2024, even if they are published. Statistics Canada expects the situation to return to normal within the next few months.
