Montréal, September 28, 2022. – The Institut de la statistique du Québec released today the Résultats de l’Enquête sur la rémunération globale au Québec for 2021.
This publication provides a wide range of data on wages, hours of work and salary scales for Québec as a whole and according to several breakdowns (the private sector broken down by business size and unionization as well as the public sector and its components). Results are presented based on the National Occupational Classification and cover businesses and organizations that employ at least 200 people in various sectors of the labour market, including the private sector, all of the public sector, and municipalities with a population of 25,000 or more.
The survey data also serve as a basis for the report Rémunération des salariés – État et évolution comparés, which compares the total compensation of Québec government employees with that of other Québec employees. That report will be released, as usual, at the end of November, but will be based on new data collected in 2022.
The Institut de la statistique produces, analyzes and disseminates official, objective and quality statistical information on various aspects of Québec society.
