Résultats de l’Enquête sur la rémunération globale au Québec

Notice of release

Montréal, October 29, 2020. – The Institut de la statistique du Québec released today the Résultats de l’Enquête sur la rémunération globale au Québec for 2019.

This publication presents a comprehensive range of data on wages, hours of work, salary scales and total compensation in the public and private sectors, according to several breakdowns (the private sector broken down by business size and unionization, and the public sector broken down by component). Results are provided according to the National Occupational Classification for Québec as a whole. The data cover businesses employing at least 200 people in various sectors of the labour market and municipalities with populations of 25,000 or more.

The results of this survey also serve as a basis for the report Rémunération des salariés – État et évolution comparés, which compares the total compensation of Québec government employees with that of other Québec employees. This highly anticipated report will be released on November 26.
