    Montréal, September 16, 2021. – The Institut de la statistique du Québec released today its comprehensive compilation of statistics on the evolution of the labour market in Québec between 2010 and 2020. This document contains a vast amount of detailed data on key labour market indicators, including:

    • The working-age population
    • The labour force
    • Employment
    • Unemployment
    • The participation rate
    • The employment rate and the unemployment rate
    • Hourly and weekly earnings
    • Hours of work and duration of work

    The data are presented according to various sociodemographic characteristics as well as several job and workplace characteristics. The statistics are illustrated using tables and graphs.

    The data come from Statistics Canada’s Labour Force Survey.
