New CADRISQ open at CHU Sainte-Justine

    Released: May 3, 2023

It’s official, the Institut de la statistique du Québec’s Research Data Access Centre (CADRISQ) at CHU Sainte-Justine has been open to the research community since May 1, 2023.

With this new centre, CHU Sainte-Justine researchers can now conduct projects on-site that involve matching data from ISQ surveys (e.g., QLSCD data), administrative data from RAMQ, MSSS, MES or MEQ, as well as clinical data on the health of mothers and children.

This research has the potential to identify possible links between the determinants of health, education and, in the near future, income of their clients, in a highly secure environment. Privacy and information security are central to the data access process at CADRISQ locations. In addition to ensuring data confidentiality, the Institut de la statistique du Québec guarantees that the data made available are protected throughout the entire process, meaning from the submission of a request to the production and dissemination of results.

At CHU Sainte-Justine, 12 workstations are available by reservation. They are in addition to the 53 workstations available in the 5 other CADRISQ locations in the province (in Montréal, Sherbrooke, and Québec City).
