A System of Indicators for Culture and Communications in Québec

    The Observatoire is releasing the first part of the publication A System of Indicators for Culture and Communications in Québec, which features the theoretical and methodological principles that helped establish the 14 priority indicators. The purpose of those indicators is to measure the key cultural development trends of Québec society.

    The second part of the publication A System of Indicators for Culture and Communications in Québec, which dœs not contain any quantitative indicators, features feasibility studies for five priority indicators: the share of the cultural gross domestic product in the total GDP, the cultural product sales index, the market share of Québec cultural products, the share of household spending on culture, and the cultural participation index.
