Portrait de la santé mentale et du bien-être des adultes québécois en 2002

This overview of the mental health and well-being of Quebecers aged 15 years and over is presented in a publication featuring multiple tables and figures. Data from the Canadian Community Health Survey, Cycle 1.2 (CCHS 1.2), conducted by Statistics Canada in 2002, were used to produce this document. The analyses presented here are purely descriptive and take the form of commented tables and figures. Both positive and negative aspects of mental health are discussed. The first feature self-rated mental health, satisfaction with life, psychological well-being, social support and adaptation to life events. As for negative aspects of mental health, both psychological distress and stress are documented.
