Participation des immigrants au marché du travail en 2009

This report provides a general statistical picture of immigrants within the labour market using three major indicators: the participation, employment and unemployment rates. It also shows how the length of time lived in the host country, the level of education and where their degree was obtained influence the participation of immigrants in the labour force. One of the important findings in this analysis is that obtaining a Canadian degree facilitates their participation.
