Les Québécois atteints du cancer de la prostate sont-ils informés, soutenus et traités avec respect? Le point de vue des patients

This publication focuses on men with prostate cancer. Based on data from the 2008 Québec Survey on the Quality of Services in the Fight Against Cancer, it reports on the information and support received at crucial stages of their journey and the respect shown to them by health professionals. These findings apply to all men who underwent surgery, chemotherapy (intravenous) or radiotherapy (including brachytherapy) for prostate cancer between April 1, 2005 and March 31, 2006. The results for men with prostate cancer are compared to those for people with other types of cancer, all cancer sites combined.
