Les Québécoises atteintes du cancer du sein sont-elles informées, soutenues et traitées avec respect? Le point de vue des patientes

This publication focuses on women with breast cancer. Based on data from the 2008 Québec Survey on the Quality of Services in the Fight Against Cancer, it reports on the information and support received at crucial stages of their journey, and on the respect shown to them by health care professionals. These findings apply to all women who underwent surgery, chemotherapy (intravenous) or radiotherapy (including brachytherapy) for breast cancer between April 1, 2005 and March 31, 2006. The results for women with breast cancer are compared to those for people with other types of cancer, all cancer sites combined.
