This bulletin presents the prevalence of serious suicidal ideation and suicide attempts over a 12-month period among Quebecers aged 15 and over. It examines the links between suicidal ideation and certain factors: demographic and socioeconomic characteristics; physical and mental health indicators; certain health care and social service utilization indicators; and indicators related to the social environment. This bulletin is based on data from the 2005 Canadian Community Health Survey (cycle 3.1).
