The theme of commitment to volunteering in sports and recreational facilities is also dealt with in the Enquête québécoise sur les activités physiques, sportives et de loisir or the EQAPSL. The results of the EQAPSL are presented in two volumes. The descriptive analysis is in the first volume (survey report), and the tabulated results in the second.

In the survey report, after the presentation of the highlights, the first chapter contains the methodology of the EQALSP. Chapter 2 examines several sociodemographical characteristics of the population studied. Chapters 3, 4 and 5 address in particular the participation in activities and all related events. Chapter 3 documents physical, sports and recreational activity participation at least once a year among persons aged 15 and over, and at least ten times a year among persons having engaged in the activity. That chapter also deals with training and development, and affiliation to an association or a group with regard to those activities. Chapter 4 describes selected profiles of physical, sports and recreational participation, as well as the level of physical activity. Chapter 5 provides details on motivations and barriers to participating in physical, sports and recreational activities. Finally, Chapter 6, the last chapter, is on the commitment to volunteering in sports or recreational activities of the Québec population aged 15 and over.
