Enquête québécoise sur la santé de la population, 2008

The report of the Québec Population Health Survey 2008 presents a province-wide statistical portrait of certain aspects of the physical and mental health and lifestyle habits of Québecers 15 years of age and over living in private households. The data collected in 2008 from 38,000 people living in 16 regions of Québec provide the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux and the health care network with valuable information which can be used to monitor the health status of Quebecers and plan public health programs and services.

In addition to informing Quebecers about their health status, the data provide a basis for reflection and decision-making among various actors in society, such as policymakers, researchers and students, to inform their action plans and directions for research. A compilation of statistics by region on the various topics covered in the report is also available.
