Tables on individuals’ e-commerce activities.
The data from the 2020 and 2022 editions of the Canadian Internet Use Survey are comparable for the most part. The data shown in the tables come from this survey.
When data are provided for both years, it means that the same question was asked in 2020 and in 2022. However, in certain instances, response options were added, removed or modified between the two surveys. The response options added or modified in 2022 do not have a comparable equivalent in 2020.
When one or more response options have been added in 2022 and there is, for 2020 and 2022, a residual category that combines all other possible responses (e.g. “other activities”), this residual category cannot be compared between the two years.
The tables that show data for 2020 only relate to questions that were not repeated verbatim or that were abandoned in 2022.
The tables that show data for 2022 only relate to questions that were asked differently from 2020 or to new questions.
