    Québec Handy Numbers, 2022 edition: Québec in statistics

    Québec, April 29, 2022. – Did you know that 22% of Québec’s surface area is made up of water, that the average age of Quebecers is 42.9 years, or that the household savings rate in Québec was 17.4% in 2021?

    These statistics are only a glimpse of what you will find in the 2022 edition of the publication Le Québec chiffres en main (Québec Handy Numbers) released today by the Institut de la statistique du Québec. This publication brings together a wealth of relevant, easy-to-find information and serves as a handy reference for all those who want to have statistics on Québec society at their fingertips.

    The publication is divided into four major themes:

    • Territory
    • Population
    • Living conditions
    • The economy and finance

    A regional overview completes the publication.

    The English version of this publication, entitled Québec Handy Numbers 2022, will be released next month. Until then, please refer to the French version for handy statistics about Québec.
