    Québec Handy Numbers, 2021 edition: Québec and its regions in statistics

    Québec, April 30, 2021. – Did you know that 22% of the province’s land area is made up of water? That the average age of Quebecers is 42.6 years? Or that the household savings rate was 18.4% in Québec in 2020?

    These statistics are only a glimpse of what you will find in the 2021 edition of Québec Handy Numbers released today by the Institut de la statistique du Québec.

    This publication provides a multitude of relevant, easy-to-find information and serves as a quick reference for all those who want to have statistics that define Québec society at hand.

    A statistical portrait of Québec’s 17 administrative regions rounds out this publication.

    The English version of this publication, entitled Québec Handy Numbers 2021, will be released next month. Until then, please refer to the French version for handy statistics about Québec.
