    Québec Handy Numbers, 2023 Edition: the province in statistics

    Québec, May 1, 2023. – Did you know that the average age of Québec women at the birth of their first child is 29.5 years, or that the household savings rate was 11.9% in 2022 in Québec?

    These statistics are only a glimpse of what you will find in the 2023 edition of the publication Le Québec chiffres en main (Québec Handy Numbers) released today by the Institut de la statistique du Québec. This publication brings together a wealth of relevant, easy-to-find information and serves as a handy reference for all those who want to have statistics on Québec society at their fingertips.

    The publication is divided into four major themes:

    • Territory
    • Population
    • Living conditions
    • The economy and finance

    An overview of Québec’s 17 administrative regions rounds out the publication.

    The English version of this publication, entitled Québec Handy Numbers 2023, will be released next month. Until then, please refer to the French version for handy statistics about Québec.
