Québec, September 10, 2020. – The Institut de la statistique du Québec released today the study Les titulaires d’un grade universitaire au Québec : ce qu’en disent les données du Recensement de 2016, along with study highlights.
This study provides a picture of the population of university degree holders in the province and its administrative regions. It includes comparisons with data from the 2011 National Household Survey (NHS) and previous censuses, as well as comparisons with populations of university degree holders in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Canada as a whole.
The analysis is primarily based on the sociodemographic characteristics of university degree holders: age, sex, and immigration status. It also examines various characteristics related to education and employment.
