Les ressources humaines en science et technologie – Second fascicle in the series Indicateurs de la science, de la technologie et de l’innovation au Québec, édition 2020

Notice of release

Québec, September 30, 2020. – The Institut de la statistique du Québec released today the fascicle Les ressources humaines en science et technologie, the second issue in the series Indicateurs de la science, de la technologie et de l’innovation au Québec, édition 2020. It contains commented data on three groups of human resources in science and technology (HRST):

  • graduates at the bachelor’s level or higher in 2017;
  • university degree holders in 2019; and
  • individuals employed in professional, technical or paraprofessional occupations in 2019.

The purpose of the Indicateurs de la science, de la technologie et de l’innovation au Québec series is to present, compare and comment on a selection of recent data in order to illustrate the situation in Québec with respect to science, technology and innovation (STI) and to report on important developments related to the measurement of STI.

The first fascicle of the 2020 edition of the series, published on July 23, focused on the measurement of innovation.

 


The Institut de la statistique du Québec produces, analyzes and disseminates official, objective and quality statistical information on various aspects of Québec society.
