Notice of release
Québec, June 14, 2021. – The Institut de la statistique du Québec is launching today its new youth showcase, which provides a statistical portrait of young Quebecers aged 15 to 29.
The result of a partnership with the Secrétariat à la jeunesse (SAJ), the showcase presents statistical information according to various indicators based on the objectives of the SAJ’s 2021-2024 Youth Action Plan. The various themes addressed are:
- employment,
- entrepreneurship,
- the environment,
- culture,
- education,
- health, and
- citizenship.
For each of the indicators presented, there are figures, tables, short highlights, and methodological notes. The showcase will be expanded periodically with the addition of new data and indicators.
