Les maladies chroniques au Québec : quelques faits marquants – Série Enquête sur la santé dans les collectivités canadiennes

This bulletin, which is primarily descriptive in nature, begins with some key facts about the evolution of chronic diseases among people aged 12 and older living in Québec and in the rest of Canada, from 2000–2001 to 2005. The analyses results are then presented for 2005 for the Québec population according to personal characteristics such as age, sex, income, activity limitations and use of health services. The data used are taken from cycles 1.1, 2.1 and 3.1 of Statistics Canada’s Canadian Community Health Survey.
