    Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions account by sector, Québec, 2009 to 2021 (in French only)

    The greenhouse gas emissions account covers carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from industry, governments, institutions and households. Sources of emissions considered are: combustion from fossil fuels and biomass, other uses of fossil fuels, industrial processes, agricultural soils, manure from livestock and enteric fermentation. The method complies with the United Nations’ System of Environmental-Economic accounting, which aims to link environmental information with economic information from national accounts.
